Under the valuable guidance of Late Shri Panditraoji Kulkarni & Shri S.V. Kulkarni, FIE Group has grown since its inception in 1953 to emerge as a leader in the testing machines. FIE has received a ‘National Award for Import Substitution’ for the manufacture of Universal testing Machines from the Government of India.

The continual growth of Special purpose machine building, Auto components Manufacturing, foundries, and machining of heavy components has given a multi dimension to FIE group.

Along with the development of variety of machines and Research activities, a joint venture with KEIHIN JAPAN for two wheeler Carburetor manufacturing was a feather in the cap of FIE group.

Not only technological but human resource wise this was a turning point in the history of FIE group.
